The artist navigated site-specific locations surrounding power plants in the Lake Macquarie region, south of Newcastle, NSW in order to gather material for a new project. Whilst avoiding security vehicles and cameras the artist took a series of photographs highlighting variations in surrounding waterways, soil quality, and plant life. These photographs were used to develop and explore a variety of printmaking techniques creating monoprints and emphasising the overwhelming presence of industry in our natural spaces.
